Do you have a partner in Thailand? Do you want them to move to the UK to live with you permanently? Have you applied to bring them to the UK and been refused?

If this is you then get in touch with a member of our experienced Immigration Team at Sydney Mitchell.  Combined, our team have over 25 years of experience within this field. They have made many entry clearance visas and maintain a very good standard of success.

Thai nationals who wish to come to the UK to join partners require a settlement visa.

An online application has to be made in accordance with the Immigration Rules and all applicants will need to demonstrate how they meet the rules.

The application covers details about both the Applicant and the UK sponsor, their relationship history and family life, accommodation in the UK, the financial situation in the UK, amongst other things.  Once an application has been submitted, supporting documents have to be provided and then an appointment is booked for the Applicant to attend one of the Visa Application Centres in Thailand for their photograph and fingerprints to be taken, known as their biometrics.

Entry Clearance Officers are becoming increasingly strict when making decisions and it is therefore very important that any application that is made, is made properly and that the correct information and documentation is provided.

If you would like any further information then do not hesitate to contact our specialist immigration team on 0808 166 8831.
