What our clients say

Legal 500 testimonials:

  • 'Associate Sundeep Bilkhu is always well prepared and thorough. He gives a full range of alternatives so the client can take appropriate action, explains legal terms to inform the client and gain understanding, and is able to hold strategic information until the appropriate time to gain maximum impact'
  • ‘I found myself in a desperate situation where a development contactor of two of my residential properties ran into serious problems.  I was on the verge of losing everything as a result of choosing a bad building contractor and the activity of a trusted project administrator.  We approached Sundeep Bilkhu of Sydney Mitchell to unravel a very complicated situation and provide guidance and advice. Mr Bilkhu came with an impressive CV and where there was gaps in his knowledge for it being outside his expertise we felt comfortable with his associates within Sydney Mitchell to fill the gap.  After lots of background and investigative exercises we decided to take the building contractor to adjudication which we won, and defended a cross adjudication, with dedicated advice and guidance of Mr Bilkhu.  I appreciate the ‘can do’ attitude and dedication from Mr Bilkhu and appreciate that he is working for us’.

  • Sundeep inherited a case from a colleague who left after spending over three years on it. He got up to speed very quickly and pushed the case on through several court hearings, appointing some excellent Barristers along the way. His calm professional and totally unflappable nature and use of simple language to communicate some seemingly bizarre court procedures and rulings was the only reason that we continued with the claim, eventually recovering a substantial sum, and a significant proportion of our costs. Sundeep was never afraid to give us advice which was contrary to what we wanted to hear, but eventually his belt and braces approach leaving no avenue unexplored meant an ultimately successful outcome. Sundeep and his team at Sydney Mitchell have been excellent and, although we hope to avoid any future litigation, we would not hesitate to use him and the firm again.

  • The way in which you have gone about your craft, has left us more than satisfied and to achieve the outcome which you have, is far better than we ever anticipated.
  • I would gladly give reference to any other potential clients, as right from our very first meeting, we felt that engaging your services, left us feeling confident in our position and that having you on board was a huge weight off our shoulders Greg White, GLW Landscapes
