About Stuart Turner

Stuart is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team.  He advises creditors and businesses experiencing financial distress, enabling them to understand the insolvency process and the options which are available to them. He advises individuals in relation to bankruptcy proceedings and act for insolvency practitioners acting as liquidators, administrators and trustees in bankruptcy.

Stuart also has experience of resolving shareholder disputes, including just and equitable winding up and unfair prejudice petitions. In addition he acts for lenders recovering secured and unsecured loans, particularly where loans have been advanced to companies and have been supported by personal guarantees.    

He has the experience of conducting litigation in the County Courts and the High Court, dealing with matters from initial instructions through to trial. He also has experience of dealing with appeals and alternative methods of dispute resolution.

Client Sectors: Stuart has acted for the full range of stakeholders where businesses are experiencing financial distress. He has also acted for lenders in the recovery of secured and unsecured lending and insolvency practitioners acting as liquidators, administrators and trustees in bankruptcy.
