Staff at Sydney Mitchell LLP, were given the surprise of their life when Britains favorite fashion guru Gok Wan paid them a visit.
The three busy working mums, Georgina, Kate and Debbie all work together at the firm's office in Shirley and were chosen out of thousands of women to appear in the new series of Gok’s Clothes Roadshow - series 1, episode 5.
Juggling their busy family life with their hectic careers meant these ladies were guilty of breaking every fashion rule in the book. It’s time for Gok Wan to step in and give these deserving women the mother of all makeovers!
After surprising them at their office in Shirley, Gok took them all shopping in Birmingham, in an effort to help rid them of their work fashion woes and get them into something stylish, but that wasn't all.
The three lucky girls were surprised even more when they were told they have to open up the catwalk show that Gok’s Clothes RoadShow was arranging in the Bullring, to not only their friends and family, but to a crowd of thousands.
Gok Wan gave the girls a glamorous makeover, which included a dramatic change in hairstyles and dresses that were fit for the red carpet.
Ruth Noone friend and colleague of the girls was present at the catwalk reveal and says "the transformation is absolutely unbelievable. I have never seen them looking so gorgeous and so different to how they usually turn up for work."
Georgina commented on her new look, "The whole experience has been fantastic and a real fashion eye opener. It has really given me a wake up call to put more of an effort in to what I wear everyday. I have taken on board of all Gok's invaluable tips and promise not to commit anymore crimes of the fashion variety and maybe wear a colour other than black from time to time."
Gok’s Clothes RoadShow and will broadcast on Tuesday 22nd February, Channel 4 at 8pm.
