Fahmida read law at U.C.E. She began her career as a Trainee Solicitor with Rowley Dickinson in Birmingham, progressing to partnership level. Fahmida joined Sydney Mitchell as a partner in 2000. Her main area of practice involves all aspects of Company and Commercial Law, and her clients include banks, national retail chains, owner-managed businesses, newly-formed companies and partnerships.

Fahmida also has experience in Landlord and Tenant matters, Residential Conveyancing, Wills and Probate.

Fahmida is also a Notary Public and has a first class degree.
