Emma is an experienced Associate Solicitor in our Family team and leads our specialist Resolution Together “One Couple, One Lawyer” service.
Emma advises on all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution, financial settlements, arrangements for children, cohabitation disputes, domestic abuse and declarations of trust.
Emma provides clients with clear advice and strives to minimise the trauma and anxiety associated with family matters. Emma has a firm, but friendly approach and maintains a clear focus on achieving practical outcomes for her clients.
Emma works collaboratively with separating couples as a Resolution Together lawyer, providing joint legal advice to assist them to move forward with respect and mutual understanding.
As a member of Resolution, Emma is committed to resolving family disputes in a way that minimises conflict, prioritises children and preserves long-term family relationships.
Emma joined Sydney Mitchell as part of the firm’s trainee programme in 2012 qualifying as a solicitor in 2014 into the Family team. Emma progressed to the position of Senior Solicitor in 2020 and was promoted to Associate Solicitor in 2022.
In her spare time Emma enjoys spending time with her family, reading and has a keen interest in travel.
