Sydney Mitchell Announces Key Promotions Across Legal and Compliance Teams

As part of its continued growth, and commitment to employee career progression, Sydney Mitchell has announced a series of internal promotions, effective 1 April 2026.

These promotions recognise the outstanding contributions, dedication, and professional development of three team members who have each played an important role in the firm’s success.

Hayley Caprani-Warner has been promoted to Senior Solicitor. Hayley began her career with the firm as a paralegal in the dispute resolution team before qualifying as a solicitor. She is a valued member of the team and has established herself as a key contributor to complex matters and a specialist in contentious trusts and probate disputes.

Sarina Sheinmar has been promoted to Associate – Risk and Compliance. Having joined the firm as an assistant costs draftsman, Sarina has steadily expanded her expertise and responsibilities. She has become an integral part of the Risk and Compliance function and now joins the compliance team full-time, where she continues to play a pivotal role.

Heleena Gandham has been promoted to Senior Associate. Working across the insolvency and dispute resolution teams, Heleena is recognised not only for her technical expertise but also for her commitment to mentoring junior colleagues. Her achievements have been acknowledged externally, with recognition in the Legal 500 for the past two consecutive years, most recently as Leading Associate.

Karen Moores, Senior Partner, commented:

“These promotions reflect the talent, hard work and commitment demonstrated by Hayley, Sarina and Heleena. Each of them embodies the firm’s values and dedication to delivering excellent service to our clients. We are proud to support their continued growth and success.”

The firm looks forward to the continued contributions of all three individuals as they take the next step in their careers.
