Gemma’s expertise spans a range of private children law complex issues, including child arrangements and relocation cases. She is highly experienced in handling sensitive situations to include those involving domestic abuse; ensuring the safety and well-being of her clients and their children. She is also adept at managing prohibited steps and specific issue orders, providing comprehensive legal guidance to navigate these challenging areas.
Gemma also specialises in divorce and the associated financial matters. She is well versed in handling complex high net-worth matters alongside trickier low-level asset positions.
Gemma can also advise on financial issues for unmarried couples, from cohabitation agreements to disputes that arise on relationship breakdown.
Gemma understands the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds and tailors her approach to each individual client to provide invaluable support and guidance throughout their matter.
Gemma qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and has practised exclusively in family law since specialising in both financial remedy and private children’s law.
She is a member of Resolution and sits on the committee of Resolution West Midlands and is recognised in the Legal 500 directory.
In her spare time, Gemma loves camping holidays in Cornwall with her two daughters, and can apparently, bake a mean cookie which makes her an invaluable member of the school’s PTA.
