Information for our clients

We are monitoring information from the relevant authorities about the coronavirus pandemic and we are acting and planning appropriately.

The safety and wellbeing of our clients, staff and the communities in which we operate is our number one priority.

We are working hard to make sure our staff can work remotely where possible and any disruption for our clients is kept to a minimum. It is our intention to remain fully operational.

We will update this page regularly.

Our offices and meetings

We are following Government advice about home-working where possible, however all of our offices are currently open, so we can maintain business as usual as far as possible.

You can continue to contact us as normal. Whilst telephones may be re-directed to another site in the event of a temporary office closure, your call will be connected as quickly as possible and we will put plans in place to manage our postal deliveries. However, it would greatly assist during this period if you would communicate with us by email or telephone where possible.

We currently advise our clients to “meet” with us remotely where possible, using telephone conference calls, or to conduct business digitally.

If you are due to visit one of our offices or feel you need to, please ask us if there is an alternative. In some areas of work, a face to face meeting may be necessary. Where this is the case, the firm has procedures in place to minimise the risk of infection. If an appointment is necessary, our procedures will be discussed with you in advance of any meeting.

Please also check the latest Government advice on coronavirus and self-isolation.

Working remotely

Our Information Technology team is working hard to make sure our staff can work remotely where possible, so there is minimal disruption for you.

We are encouraging our staff to follow Government advice and work from home where possible, particularly those in high risk groups.

We can also offer digital documentation in some areas of our work. Please speak to your usual contact for further information.

Deadlines and Court Dates

We will work with you to identify any upcoming deadlines and Court dates and again, we will do all we can to minimise any disruption to you.

The Courts are also starting new ways of working, increasing the use of technology and offering remote hearings in some cases.

Our events

We have decided to cancel all of our events until further notice.

Coronavirus advice

The coronavirus outbreak has created uncertainty for everyone around the world.

We have seen a lot of concern around the economic and financial effects coronavirus will have in the coming months. Our lawyers and advisers remain ready and available to assist you.
