Road Accidents

Driver, cyclist, passenger or pedestrian

Claims usually need to be brought TO COURT within 3 years of the accident. Children usually have until they are 21 if they were under 18 when the accident occurred. Don't delay contact us now.

Whether you were a driver, passenger, pedestrian or cyclist you can claim if you were (a) injured and (b) the injury was caused by the fault or omission of someone else.

It does not usually matter if the person to blame is uninsured or even if they are unidentified (e.g. hit & run) because the law still provides for you and if no insurer can be found the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB, a government funded body) will normally pick up the bill. If you were driving you must have had insurance yourself to claim from the MIB.

Even if you are partly to blame you can still receive a percentage of compensation. For example two cars in a head on collision in the middle of the road without any witnesses might well be settled on a 50:50 basis as both parties (in the absence of any other evidence) would seem to be equally at fault.

You should check with us before taking any action that might compromise your potential claim.
