Team Sydney Mitchell Prepare For The Knowle Fun Run

Sydney Mitchell are entering a total of 8 teams into this years Knowle Fun Run, taking place on Sunday 11th May. Thanks to the success of the noble few who entered last year's run, the response to an appeal for 2008 runners has been impressive with nearly a third of Sydney Mitchell staff prepared to don their trainers in aid of a good cause.

The team are in the final stages of training for this years run, and are keen to get on the starting blocks ready to run in aid of their nominated local charity the Maria Watt Birmingham Foundation for Childhood Leukaemia.

According to the National Statistics around 2.5 million unmarried couples in the UK are cohabiting. Many people believe that so long as you live together for a certain amount of time, 6 or 12 months are often referred to, then you become a "common law" husband or wife with all the rights a married couple would enjoy. Couples in long-standing relationships run their lives as if they were married; purchase a home, have children, one parent may give up work and make economic sacrifices. To all intents and purposes, the couple are married.
