Partner of Legal 500 regional Law Firm, Sydney Mitchell LLP and former President of Birmingham Law Society, Dean Parnell has recently been shortlisted for two individual awards at the national Law Society’s Excellence Awards.
In recognition of Mr Parnell’s contribution to the Birmingham Legal market together with the quality work he undertakes at his firm he has been short-listed in the “Solicitor of the Year” and “Legal Personality of the Year” categories.
In response to the recently released news, Mr Parnell said,
Both my firm and I have had a great year and I am delighted that the Law Society has recognised this although I certainly did not expect to have been short-listed in two categories. I note that the standard of those short-listed is very high and whilst I think it is unlikely that I will win either category, it is certainly nice to have had recognition from the Law Society in relation to the work that I have been undertaking.
