Shelley began her law career in the Private Client department at Sydney Mitchell, straight from school. She joined as a Wills Clerk and moved on to deal with all aspects of private clients.
Whilst on her training contract with the firm, she gained experience in the Family, Litigation, Personal Injury and Conveyancing departments. On qualifying as a solicitor Shelley returned to the Private Client department.
Shelley now deals with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. She also assists clients with Court of Protection applications and Administration of Estates.
Awards and Recognition
In November 2011, Shelley was awarded the Sydney Mitchell, Ron Halstead Award in recognition of her hard work and dedication whilst at work and for the volunteer work she undertakes outside of work.

Interests and Hobbies
Shelley’s main hobby is playing and coaching netball. She plays for a well established club in Birmingham and has been coaching girls aged 8-11 to play netball for the last 12 years. She also enjoys watching football, going to the cinema and reading.
