Sam specialises in resolving the disputes, issues and the financial consequences which arise from the breakdown of personal relationships, including divorce and civil partnership disputes.

Sam gives objective and practical advice to people, whilst appreciating that it is a really difficult time in their lives.

Sam advises on the monetary aspects of relationship breakdown including:

  • Maintenance
  • Pensions
  • Property
  • Savings
  • Businesses
  • Current and future income.

Sam advises on disputes involving children, where his aim is to resolve the issues in an amicable way, including:

  • Access / Contact ie: when and where the child will visit the other parent
  • Residence (also known as custody), ie: where the child/children will live
  • Restraining / Prohibited steps orders, ie: preventing a parent from taking some kind of action such as removing a child without consent
  • Specific issue orders, ie: to enforce an important decision affecting the child, for example, which school the child should go to.

Interests and Hobbies

Interests and Hobbies:
Sam has played football for 30 years but has now retired due to problems with his knees. He still enjoys watching football and is an Aston Villa season ticket holder (despite his family being Birmingham City fans). In his spare time Sam coaches children’s football and netball.
