Formerly a Senior Associate at Averta, Norman is based at the firms Shirley office and works in conjunction with Dean Parnell, Head of Employment at the firm's city office and the employment team.

Norman specialises in employment law, high value insurance litigation and is an experienced Tribunal advocate.

Norman also has experience of 'After the Event' insurance, which can be bought to protect a client from a costs order on certain cases.

Norman is an experienced Tribunal advocate and litigator and undertakes both Claimant and Respondent work including advising on -

  • Representing national director of well known High Street chain on issues involving PHI, shares and pension entitlements.
  • Advising director of national company in respect of protected disclosure issues in Whistle blowing claim.

  • Larner v Solihull MBC [2001] C.A - Acted for Council in successful defence of catastrophic injury claim.
  • Hughes v Unipart [1986] - Achieved maximum compensation for Convenor dismissed for trade union activities
